RTDigest
goes on vacation
Since
Readers Theatre is essentially an audio and visual experience why not integrate
A-V elements into our basic textual web site? Achieving this is easier said
than done. So, this being a one-man shop and with no budget for hiring an
expert to do the technical stuff, Ye Ed has bitten the bullet.
Over the
past several weeks I've studied blogging technology, podcasting, and streaming
audio/video and the possibilities for the RT Digest are exciting. I think
I can pull it off as a do-it-yourself project. However it will involve some
trial and error and the climbing of a rather steep learning curve - for
me, at least.
But
first,
my spouse, Kay, and I will be enjoying a few weeks exploring
the hidden wonders of the coast of Maine. I've lived here all my life but
every car trip along Maine's many coastal and rural byways always has new
wonders to share. After that, it's back to business and, if all goes as
expected, you'll be able to interact with other Readers Theatre experts
by way of embedded blogs, audio streaming, and videos of actual RT performances
and demonstrations.
