Why Are We Doing This?

Outside the context of RT script services and rare, widely scattered references buried in theatre websites devoted to academic and conventional theatre interests, there are no places on the Internet where RT practitioners and interested others can read about what's happening globally in this exciting theatre genre.

Our aim is to offer a variety of insights and opinions about RT from experts in the field. Many will be known to some of you and others will no doubt become familiar bylines to our readers. We'll report on current RT activity wherever it occurs, whenever it comes to our attention. We'll scour the Internet and reprint (with permission of course) the informative and helpful articles we hope to find scattered there.

All-in-all, the content of READERS THEATRE DIGEST will be driven by you, the reader, to the extent you make your ideas and opinions know to us.

Please don't be shy about sharing your point of view. Do it in letters to the Editor (which we may print), ideas for future articles, or unsolicited "opinion" pieces. Everything submitted to READERS THEATRE DIGEST will be thoroughly reviewed to determine its potential interest to our readers.

So we're on the way. Enjoy, and keep in touch.
